To me the best time of year is when I have a vacation. I enjoy being at home with family and friends, but I look forward to all those trips my husband and I take throughout the year. It’s our time to explore, to visit some place new and to look for adventure.
One of the most stressful parts about vacation, is planning outfits and what I’m going to wear. I’m constantly over packing and bringing multiple outfits to fit any possible situation. I never want to be stuck without something to wear.
When I have my clothes laid out and ready to go in the suitcase, I’m always looking for the best way to pack them so they travel well free of wrinkles and creases. Sometimes that means trying to roll pants and shorts, and neatly folding shirts into small spaces. What I found perfect for this trip, was this top from Vacay Style.
I knew I would be traveling to New York City by plane for a few days, and then taking a train to New Haven, Connecticut. A lot of transporting luggage was going to happen on this trip and I needed some pieces that would travel well. This Vacay Style Top (Tahini Halter Top) did not disappoint. I rolled it into a tight knit to place inside my suitcase around my shorts and other tops. It managed to make the trip from NYC to New Haven, CT with very few wrinkles.
I paired it with a pair of white jeans for a afternoon of walking around Yale University. It’s lightweight and easy to wear in the 90+ degree heat we’ve been experiencing.
On a side note, everyone should make the trip to Yale. It’s beautiful!
